CINEMA DESK
The Cinema Desk, the latest activity of the Fondazione Roberto Rossellini per l’Audiovisivo, officially begins. With the slogan “Valuable to cinema. Valuable to those who finance it”, its objective is to make it easier for cinema producers to find public funding, to favour the access to credit thanks to special bank conventions, and to give private financers the opportunity to invest in cinema. Clicking on Cinema Desk you can access a portal which is full of useful information and high value-added services, all of which are free once you sign up. These include: CinemaLex, a database which is updated daily and contains a complete overview of the norms governing the cinema and audio-visual sectors; Cinema&Finanza (Cinema&Finance) is an even more sophisticated tool that supplements CinemaLex, allowing the search for precise and detailed information about all the financial contributions and tax breaks granted by authorities at regional, state and European Union levels, as well as by banks, other financial institutions and private investors.
